PHOTO SHOOTING TECHNIQUES

Example 2 : two successive pictures of Schlumbergera X 'Marosca'

Schlumbergera x 'Marosca' : picture 1.

diaphragm aperture: F/32

exposure time: 1/60s

illumination: natural light (sunny weather)

comment: As the solar light is coming from the top, the tube, stamens and pistil are luminous, the bottom of the petals is dark.

Schlumbergera x 'Marosca' : picture 2.

diaphragm aperture: F/32

exposure time: 1/60s

illumination: natural light (sunny weather as for the previous one) + reflecting mirror which illuminates quite vertically almost vertically from bottom to top

comment: The bottom of the corolla is lit by the mirror. These two last pictures are very different due to illumination (without mirror for the first, with mirror for the second). They have each their charm.
