"Zygocactus" is an old name of the genus "Schlumbergera". This genus is commonly referred to as "Christmas Cactus".

This year, the gallery has few photos. It is indeed becoming increasingly difficult to obtain identified hybrids. The commercial logic makes identification a secondary criterion compared to the criterion of financial profit.
So I photographed only a few hybrids with yellow flowers. The first hybrid with yellow flowers is: Schlumbergera x'Gold Charm', obtained around 1982. Since then, there are many others, more or less fragile and more or less resistant to the pink colouring that mixes with yellow when the temperature of cultivation is too cold between the formation of flower buds and the opening of flowers.
I invite the interested reader to read the story of obtaining'Gold Charm' by clicking on the link at the end of this page.
