This Epiphyllum was obtained in Japan. Its name which means “luminous Princess” is resulting from the Japanese tale: “The tale of Kaguya Princess”. This tale was recently adapted to the cinema by the filmmaker Isao Takahata and the animated movie is currently available on DVD.
