SCHLUMBERGERA x 'MADAME BUTTERFLY VARIEGATA'
This hybrid is a sport of the hybrid “Madame Butterfly” which has green stem-segments. Here, the plant presents variegation, i.e. that some parts of the stems do not have chlorophyll and thus have a whitish color. The growth is, in my collection, particularly slow and the roots often rot, which forces me to make cuttings.
