SCHLUMBERGERA ENIGMA

This Schlumbergera is aptly named.

Its origin is an enigma, most likely the induced or natural mutation of another Schlumbergera.

Flowering is unpredictable from year to year.

The flower in this photo formed about 15 days ago. It is 2.5 cm long.

Between the appearance of the bud and the final shape of the flower, it takes almost 2 months.

The blooming flower is sometimes insignificant, and sometimes a sumptuous firework display.
