Group: B
Schlumbergera x 'buckleyi' is a collective term for the first hybrids created,
from the end of the 19th century, beginning of the 20th century and after.
All 'buckleyi' hybrids have the pedigree S. russelliana x S truncata.
These are the ones the general public consider "The true Christmas cactus".
Some, like S. russelliana, have stamens with pink filaments, while others, like S. truncata, have stamens with white
filaments.
The flower of this clone resembles that of S. russelliana, but is zygomorphic, which rules out confusion.
In contrast, S. russelliana has actinomorphic flowers.
