SCHLUMBERGERA x 'MADAME BUTTERFLY'
variegata
photo 1/4 taken on 27/10/2021
This beautiful Schlumbergera is from the Q (Queen) group
i.e. Schlumbergera orssichiana is in its pedigree.
The word variegata refers to the variegation of the segments:
It comes from the fact that some segments are green while others
are partially or totally whitish
(absence of chlorophyll for a reason unknown to me here and
which is not the same for all variegations)
