HATIORA SALICORNIOIDES

Hatiora salicornioides is named so due to the fact that its stems look like those of Samphires (in French : Salicornes), which have nothing to do with cacti and which namely grow in France on salty soils along the Brittany coasts. Samphires stems are consumed as condiments (NB : I do not speak here about Hatiora salicornioides)
