THE PLACE

I needed a place without wind, well-lit and where I could use, permanently installed, my black background. My choice was made on a room in the attic of my house, lit by a roof window, luckily south-facing, and whose “walls” are the two slopes of the roof. The roofing framework enables me to hang pots before photographing the plants (see picture above).

I pinned to a wall of the roof the material which I use as black background. The slope helps it to reflect light less. The plants to be photographed are hanging from the framework or put on small cases which I can pile up on top of one other to regulate the height. More identical cases (out of photograph) are used as a seat for me.

The only disadvantage is to transport the pots of the greenhouse to the attic, but, nothing can be perfect...........
