And here is one of the young transplanted plants, photographed one year after transplanting i.e. 2 years after sowing. The plant starts showing its adult aspect, but it will still be necessary to wait at least for 2 more years before its first blooming. Before then, it will be transplanted again in larger pots, still with the same acid and well drained compost.

As time goes by, growth, relatively slow at the beginning, will gradually accelerate ; I always observed this phenomenon of acceleration when I sowed epiphytic cacti.
