Then, I made many photographs of the young stem-segments as well the "crazy bud" during a period of several weeks to follow their evolution.
This floral bud was in fact a young stem-segment; it included, at its basis, the remains of floral pink petals: what must have been a floral bud a few days before I observed the plant had transformed itself into a vegetative bud, becoming a new stem-segment which was keeping the original traces of its first intention to be a bloom. Thus, the plant had changed its mind, it thought: “I will evolve as a stem-segment instead of blooming”.
