EPIPHYLLUM x 'PINK PLUMES'
N.B. : This Epiphyllum belongs to the famous group called “Wressey Cocke 50th crossbreedings”. When Wressey Cocke (1905 - 1993) made his crossbreedings of Epiphyllum, the fiftieth was a crossbreeding of Epiphyllum x 'Ruby Snowflake' with Epiphyllum x 'Tassel'. This crossbreeding (made in the 70s) of two Epiphyllum whose blooms bear very numerous petals, were born from the hybrids forming the above referred group. They are sometimes difficult to cultivate and have, like their parents, the property to give blooms bearing very numerous petals. A bloom of Epiphyllum x 'Pink Plumes' may count up to 80 petals.
