We are on December 30th, 2011 ; I have just received Alain’s e-mail in which he indicates that on Christmas Eve he discovered that the Schlumbergera started floral buds. He hastily took this photo and sent it to me to illustrate his discovery.
As soon as the flowers have opened, Alain promised me new photographs and I will update this page with a photograph of the plant in full bloom.
We are on January 10th, 2012 ; the first bloom is fully opened (detail : right side).
We are on January 14th, 2012 ; most of the blooms are opened !

Alain, his family and I are happy with the result of what we achieved and we hope that you took pleasure in reading the story of our rescue, successful thanks to the web, as we were several hundred kilometers away from each other.
